🎤 Mic Check, Mic Check – Official Rules
1. Eligibility
- Open to independent music artists ages 18 and up.
- Artists must submit original content they have full rights to perform and distribute.
- All genres welcome (Hip-Hop, R&B, Trap, Drill, Soul, etc.).
- Submissions must include at least one clean (radio-ready) version of a track.
2. Submission Guidelines
To be considered for the show, artists must:
- Complete the official submission form at RatedRMiamiTV.com.
- Upload:
- 2–3 streaming links to original tracks
- A performance clip or freestyle (optional but recommended)
- A promo photo or headshot
- Agree to let RatedRMiamiTV feature their content in livestreams, recaps, and social promotions.
- Submission does not guarantee selection. All entries are reviewed by producers.
3. Artist Selection
- Selected artists will be contacted directly by RatedRMiamiTV staff.
- Each episode features two competing artists.
- Selection is based on talent, originality, and performance readiness.
4. Show Format
- Round 1: 16 Bar Warm-Up – Each artist delivers a 16-bar verse (live or pre-recorded) to showcase lyrical ability.
- Round 2: Track Showcase – One original song from each artist is played live on-air to showcase their full sound and identity.
5. Voting
- Voting is 100% audience-based.
- A live poll is launched after both rounds for viewers to vote.
- Artist with the most votes wins the episode.
- In case of a tie, hosts may launch a bonus challenge or freestyle round.
6. Code of Conduct
- No hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory lyrics.
- Content must follow RatedRMiamiTV broadcast standards.
- Violations may result in removal from the show or a permanent ban.
7. Prizes
- Winner receives a spotlight on RatedRMiamiTV.
- Free radio spins on RatedR Radio.
- Eligible for merch drops, cash prizes (if sponsored), and future interviews or bookings.
8. Terms & Conditions
- RatedRMiamiTV has the right to use your likeness and performance clips for promotions.
- You confirm that all submitted material is original and cleared for use.
- Artists must follow all show guidelines and timelines provided by producers.
